New Toy

I bought a new lens last week, which is the first time in a REALLY long time that I've attempted (through equipment) to add a new style to my pictures. It's an ultrawide angle, which means that it's great for dramatic pictures like the top picture, and storytelling pictures like the second picture. It's also great for cool compositions - I'll share one of those in the next couple of days.

The wedding season will officially begin for me next weekend, but for the past bit I've been busy with shoots for little ones.

Protection

After we get our formal albums in, I head to the basement for a few hours to put a protective coating on all of the pages. It's one the non-glamorous details to my work, but I think it's so important to ensure the album will be safe from water & fingerprints for a lifetime!
